After the launch of its GPS running watch range, Garmin has just recently launched its next flagship watch, the Garmin Enduro 3.
This watch can be pre-ordered for $799. It shares quite a few similarities with other Garmin watches, but it also has a few key differences.
At first glance, this watch shares the same form factor as the previous Garmin Fenix devices (Fenix 7, Enduro 2 and Forerunner 965). However, as soon as you turn it around, it’s instantly apparent that it’s much lighter. I believe this is due to the use of a carbon fibre-reinforced polymer case.
It seems quite pricey, considering that the Garmin Forerunner 255 is less than half the price. However, it is comparable to many other higher-end consumer GPS running watches, such as the Coros Vertix 2 and Polar Grit X2 Pro.
While it’s hard to judge how well this will perform without any third-party testing, it will undoubtedly integrate well with the Garmin Connect app, which is already a strong point for these watches.
I’m hoping to be able to test one soon!
