I’ve now been using the Stryd Duo for so long that they’ve released yet another update (the Stryd Duo firmware 2.0). While I don’t rely on the balance data as actively as the power data (which I check after every run), I love having this device on every run and referring to the balance metrics when I’m curious about my gait.

What I’ve noticed that is particularly interesting about my current situation is that I see far more significant left-right balance spikes during harder efforts than I used to. I’ve also noticed a few massive power spikes, which I believe could be incorrect readings, but it’s hard to tell.
I’m still trying to isolate the reason for these power spikes, but they appear to be quite common and occur multiple times during interval sessions. If anyone has any ideas, I’d love to hear them!
