After finally getting a chance to use these watches hands-on, I think the Wahoo Elemnt Rival and Garmin Venu S2 both deserve a place on this list.
Firstly, the Wahoo Elemnt Rival is a relatively inexpensive GPS running watch that begins at $199 (for GPS, pace, HR, and running dynamics) and goes for $249 with a heart rate strap included. There is another variant at just under $300, but I don’t recommend this for the reasons I explain in the article.

It’s worth noting that if you want to use the Wahoo Elemnt Rival, you will need the Wahoo app running on your smartphone.
